I’m Deb Minnard. I’ve been drawing, painting most of my life. I got into photography in 1984. It became my profession, portraiture mostly, but I’ve always loved a creative challenge to try something new. About ten years ago I developed a “tick” in my right hand that ended my ability to draw or paint. Because I needed a creative outlet, the search ensued to find a way to paint digitally. I found it in an introduction to digital painting online that was a springboard event for me. The beauty of this technique is that when my hand would “tick”, I could just undo that stroke and keep going. It opened a whole new creative world for me. I love that I get to paint again and I’m happy to share what I do and to see others take it in new directions.
This is very interesting to me, I hope my schedule allows me to attend !
