The Twin City Camera Club Web site was awarded First Place, in the 2012 PSA International Website Competition.

The Twin City Camera Club members were pleased and appreciative to have received the award for First Place, in the 2012 PSA Camera Club International Website Contest, for Division A (Large Clubs).  The Photographic Society of America (PSA) is a worldwide organization.  It was founded in 1934 and has members in over 70 countries.

TCCC website history...

The first Twin City Camera Club website was developed in 2002 by our then Treasurer Howard Nahikian.  It was originally designed so that TCCC would have a web presence for prospective members and a place to showcase some photos of what we do.

In 2004 Dan Penrod became the webmaster and revised the website to provide information for visitors and our members and showcase photographs that received an Honor in the monthly competitions.  Tom McCall originally assisted Dan Penrod with the website and then became the webmaster in 2005 when work obligations required Dan to relinquish the position.

The website has been revised several times over the years since 2005 with the main emphasis on usability and accessibility for all of our members and visitors.  With all of the changing technologies, the goal has been keeping it "User-friendly" for all aspects of navigation and usefulness, by presenting the information in a clear and concise way.  We want to encourage members and visitors alike, to make our website the place to go for information and links, by making every visit a satisfying experience.

We Care!
The purpose of the Twin City Camera Club website is:

To encourage and develop an interest in photography.
To inform, provide contact information, and entertain.
To inform our members and visitors about upcoming activities and events.
To showcase our member's work, it's all about focusing on Photography.
And having fun...

From Tom McCall, the Webmaster...

I'm gratified and honored in receiving this award,  I've always held the PSA Organization in the highest regard and feel that receiving the PSA's First Place Award in the Club Web Site Contest, is a great honor to our organization.

To me, it's an unexpected reward that adds the "icing on the cake" so to speak, because I've found that my rewards have come from hearing people say or tell you, just how much they have enjoyed the website.  That it looks great and they could find things easily.   I'm also very appreciative of the contributions from the TCCC Members.  If it wasn't for their wonderful photographs and all of the other things they do, these awards in 2010 and 2012 wouldn't have been possible.

Thank  You!
